Our 2024 Home Fresh Marketing Strategy is detailed below which highlights the advertising, brand positioning, and customer journey with targeted efforts around Spring Chick Days.

Marketing Goals

  1. Build brand awareness for Home Fresh.
  2. Position Home Fresh poultry as a premium feed with creative and messaging that resonates with target audience.
  3. Drive consumers to purchase through coupon offers and remarketing tactics.

Brand Awareness

This year, we have a heavier paid media investment with deeper social media activation, which allows us to greatly expand our reach.  We are estimating over 31 MILLION impressions throughout the campaign.  This is 4X the amount of impressions in 2023.

With our digital advertising, we are able to target users who are actively searching for content relevant to key phrases and topics, such as “backyard chickens”, “chicken feed”, “chick starter feed”, “backyard poultry”, etc.  We are also geo-targeting social media ads across our trade area, specifically surrounding our dealer and retail locations.

Customer Journey

When a user engages with our ads, they will be taken to our new Home Fresh Poultry webpage, where they can find product highlights, testimonials, articles.  The main call to action is to enter in their email for a $5 off coupon.  We’ve built out a nurturing campaign to continue to market to them with applicable product information and content based on when they interacted with our ads, plus a reminder to download their coupon if they haven’t clicked through to it yet.
