Reminder: Redemption Process for Coupons and Offers

As we head into a heavy coupon season with increased traffic and major advertising campaigns for Home Fresh and Sentinel, please ensure all redemptions are processed through the correct channels. This helps us maintain accurate tracking, timely reimbursement, and a smooth customer experience. As a reminder:

 

✔️ BARCODED Coupons → Redeem Through INMAR

This includes:

  • Physical coupons
  • Printable/email coupons
  • Any coupon that includes a scannable barcode
     

All barcoded offers must be submitted through INMAR for proper processing and reimbursement.

✔️ Non‑Barcoded Offers → Run Through Astro

Use Astro for:

  • In‑store promotions
  • Loyalty rewards
  • Dollar‑off incentives
  • Any offer without a barcode

These should not be sent to INMAR.

✔️ Certificates (Free Bag Winners) → Send to Marketing

Certificates are:

  • Non‑barcoded
  • Given to customers who won free or discounted feed at a show, event, or promotional activity
  • Often designed with a QR code to help customers locate their nearest KENT retailer
  •  

These certificates include instructions for redemption and must be sent directly to the marketing team for reimbursement, not IMNAR or Astro.

 

Keeping these processes clean ensures timely reimbursement, accurate tracking, and the best customer experience during our busiest promotional season.
