KNG Attends Muscatine Women’s Leadership Summit

On Thursday, May 16, 2024 women from Kent Corporation attended the first annual Muscatine Women’s Leadership Summit. Employees attended a keynote panel discussion, breakout sessions, and a guided networking lunch. The summit was designed to “Bring Muscatine women together to empower, connect, and inspire one another by sharing best practices, exchanging career stories, and building long term relationships.” The keynote panel was made up of four women in leadership that reside in Muscatine, including Kent Corporation’s very own, Carol Reynolds, Vice President of Human Resources and Communications. The breakout sessions included:

  • Leveraging AI to Accelerate Your Potential, which discussed a variety of topics on the future of AI, including its relevancy to business leaders, leveraging AI for strategic choices, effective communication, and more.
  • Owning Your Mental Health, which included learning how to empower yourself and those around you to become mental health advocates.
  • Uncovering and Developing Your Personal Brand, which discussed how creating your personal brand is a powerful way to build a competitive advantage and build confidence when living your authentic self. By leveraging brand strategy tools used by the largest companies and brand teams, it’s possible to uncover the key areas of your personal brand and use this framework to transform your approach in work and life.
