Freight Rates
Over the past several years, transportation costs have continued to increase due to higher carrier rates, equipment expenses, driver wages, regulatory requirements, and broader supply chain costs. Throughout this period, we have worked to absorb these increases through operational efficiencies and cost-management initiatives. To help offset a portion of these increased transportation expenses, a freight rate adjustment will be implemented effective December 1, 2026. Fuel Surcharge Update
EAST
Due to a continued increase in the average price per gallon of diesel fuel in the Eastern U.S. over the past several weeks, the KNG East, Full Truckload fuel surcharge will be 56% for November 2026.
MIDWEST
Due to a continued increase in the average price per gallon of diesel fuel in the Midwest over the past several weeks, the KNG Midwest fuel surcharge will be at 54% for November 2026.
