Egg Yolk Color in Home Fresh and Poultry Layer Feed

• The research team has been testing the egg yolk color of poultry fed Home Fresh Layer Feed. The team incorporated a Marigold Extract to create a deeper colored yellow yolk in some feed and formulated other diets with less Marigold Extract, but with varying levels of a specific source of Paprika (red chili powder) to create an orange-yellow yolk. This testing has led to the Home Fresh Extra Egg’s new yolk color. Read more about the research here.
